ZZ Top and Ted Nugent

Finished off the summer season of shows at the Orange County Fair with ZZ Top last night. "First three songs...no flash" is all the instruction you're given at most shows. I got more than I needed in that time. Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill are just walking cool. They loads of style, and make it easy for a simple "tog" like me. Love it! Great time while I was there. Shawn Perry of VintageRock.com said the whole show was great and I believe it. See about a third of the actual shots I took here:

A music slide show from Shawn will be up soon on VintageRock.com

Had to drive like a madman (my usual self) to get to the House of Blues Anaheim for a 9pm showtime. Uncle Ted was ripping the heads off of everyone from environmentalists to politicians of Bell to President Obama. Dude knows what is up. And if you don't agree with him...well Ted says FU! That's how it is in the world of Ted! Unbelievable show. So much fun. Didn't get to shoot photos because his Tour Manager is fascist douchebag. He eliminated all photo passes just before the show started unknown to me. I ran almost a mile to get there at 9:07. Still snapped off a few. After the show, I went downstairs to where the band bus and Ted's Escalade was to take a photo as he was coming out, but dude kicked me out of there too. You know, Ted is all about freedom, and he employs a effing Nazi for a tour manager. Ted is going to hear about that for sure. All in all a great night regardless. Bring on the next one.
