Crimson Crowbar at the Gaslamp

Unexpectedly stopped by the Gaslamp last week to see Dave Shelton and Crimson Crowbar. Well to my surprise, Dave had recruited none other than John Avila of Oingo Boingo to play bass. Was thinking to myself here is a real musician, a guy who once played in front of half a million people at the US Festival and here he is now in front of a crowd of less than less than twenty. Hope he continues to stand in. What a player!
